Author: Samuel Sturgis

Sam is a second-year law student from Southlake, Texas. Sam completed his undergrad at Auburn and the University of North Texas, majoring in architecture and pottery. Sam will serve the incoming Law Review Executive Board as Chief Executive Editor, and his article “An Appeal to Heaven—The Timeless Plea For Nollan/Dolan Extension to the Sphere of Legislative Exactions,” will be published in Volume 40 of the review. Sam spent last summer clerking in Austin, TX for the Texas Public Policy Foundation, and will clerk this summer for the Jackson offices of Adams & Reese and Balch & Bingham. Sam is the Vice President of the Law Student Bar Association, where he serves as Head of the Community Service Committee. Sam is also an active member of the MC Law Moot Court program, where he has received numerous awards and currently serves as Finance Chair.
