Melanie is a third-year law student from Lucedale, Mississippi. Melanie graduated with a degree in Political Science and History from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2017. Melanie currently serves as an Executive Editor and Blog Chair for the MC Law Review. Melanie spent last summer clerking at Balch & Bingham in Gulfport, Mississippi and Wise Carter Child & Caraway in Jackson, Mississippi. Outside of Law Review, Melanie is the President of the Environmental Law Association, Election Chair for the MC Law Moot Court Board, a member of the Women’s Student Bar Association, and previously served as Vice-President of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association.
