Author: James "Bud" Sheppard

Bud is a May 2020 magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi College School of Law and the 2020-2021 Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Bud is a native of Jackson who frequents the Mississippi Gulf Coast. While at MC Law, Bud interned with Judge Cory T. Wilson on the Mississippi Court of Appeals and State Treasurer David McRae. Bud received numerous litigation awards for his activity on the Moot Court Board. As Editor-in-Chief, Bud led the publication of Volume 39 of the Review and received the Bradley Best Comment Award for his article titled “The Dormant Right to Plant-Based Food,” published in Volume 39 Issue 2.
